I have to admit, I have not watched the series Peaky Blinders at all. I’m a big fan of the genre and typically would watch a series like this, but I think because it is on BBC is the reason I haven’t to date. I have noticed that it is now on Netflix (my favorite binge site) so I’ll definitely be taking some time to get caught up.
Well word on the line is that not only will there be a sixth season of the popular show, but that there could also be a movie in the works if the creators have any say. Speaking last night at the Virgin TV BAFTAs, writer Steven Knight explained how he envisages the popular show coming to an end. Stating: “I’ve wanted to end it with the first air raid siren in 1939”, adding, “It will take three series to get there.” Knight also said: “A movie would be great but I don’t want to do it at the end. Maybe between series.”
I’m not sure what will happen, I just know I’ll be tuning in to see. Check out this trailer from season 4 and see if this series is something you’d like!
